Louis Hollingsworth won a $1.5 million wrongful death verdict against a security guard company whose employee, Daniel Espinosa, caused the death of a stranded motorist. After Espinosa pulled over to help the two men, he drove so fast toward them that one of the men ran into oncoming traffic.

Family settles with neurosurgeon: Malpractice alleged in death of man, 50

The family of a Tucson man who died after suffering massive brain damage during surgery was represented by Louis Hollingsworth in a malpractice suit against the neurosurgeon who performed the procedure that ended the man’s life. Hollingsworth settled this case for the family out-of-court for an undisclosed amount of money.

Jury awards $2.8 million to victim of crash

A 42-year-old single mother of two who suffered permanent injuries after another driver struck her vehicle head-on was represented in court by Louis Hollingsworth. Hollingsworth convinced a jury to award the woman a $2.8 million settlement. She suffered a head injury, fractured hip and crushed knee.

Malpractice Suit: $4 Million Award

A Tucson couple represented by Louis Hollingsworth was awarded over $4 million in a malpractice suit filed against their prenatal doctor who failed resuscitation on their baby immediately after he was born. The baby suffered severe brain damage, and the cost for care for their child is and will continue to be a substantial amount. Hollingsworth also represented the couple in a suit against the hospital; that case settled for an undisclosed amount of money.

El Campo customer awarded $300,000 in volatile dispute: Repair complaint escalated into injurious beating

Attorney Louis Hollingsworth convinced a jury to award his client, Russell James, $300,000 for his pain and suffering after he was seriously injured in a fight with three Marana El Campo Tire shop employees after complaining about a repair job. Prior to the trial James offered to settle with El Campo for $50,000, but El Campo refused and offered to pay no more than $20,000. Hollingsworth took the case to trial and more than tripled the amount James had originally asked for.
